Jim Shiebler is an associate in Marcus & Millichap’s Tampa office. He focuses his expertise on multi-tenant retail and single-tenant net-lease restaurant properties throughout Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and south Sarasota counties. As a specific market and product type skilled professional, he specializes in the acquisition, disposition and exchange of investment grade retail properties throughout the entire Southwest Florida region.

Mr. Shiebler joined the Tampa office in March 2016 having previously held a variety of prestigious executive positions operating hotels, resorts, casinos and restaurants throughout the nation. Achieving numerous distinctions, accolades, national awards and esteemed levels of recognition including operating Conde Nast Best New Restaurant and Best New Hotel in the world. Mr. Shiebler also possesses the Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) designation from the American Culinary Federation, Inc. (ACF), the nation’s largest organization of professional chefs.

Mr. Shiebler transitioned to commercial real estate investment sales to leverage his comprehensive understanding of retail properties. Having previously owned and operated restaurants, he brings unique perspective to his work on behalf of investors.  He experienced immense success as an operator and also as an instructor at several of the nation’s finest culinary academic institutions and fully appreciates the rewards and challenges business owners face. His food and beverage expertise and Southwest Florida market knowledge provide him with a unique skill set to advise clients to maximize their return on investment. Mr. Shiebler is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He is married, has two daughters and resides in Estero. He enjoys family time, traveling, sports and fitness.
